John was conceived in Germany, but born in Cleveland, Ohio to German parents. His dad was a carpenter, his mom, took care of the house, garden and kids.
John, graduated from Valley Forge High School in Parma Hts. where he took Vocational Electronics, played tennis and was on the chess team.
He earned an Associate of Arts degree from Cuyahoga Community College where he took a lot of math and physics and continued to play tennis. Here he developed an interest in psychology, philosophy, symbolic logic, and comparative world religions.
In 1981 he graduated from Cleveland State University (Fenn College) with a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering, specializing in computer architecture and software development. At CSU he was on the Tennis team.
After graduation he surveyed the world in search of paradise. After living in Australia for eight years and circumnavigating the globe three times, he found paradise in Hawaii.
John also, enjoys, hiking, and a wide variety of water sports.
John recently won eight out of eight and the final in the Oahu Tennis league (doubles).
