Legislature Gets an F from Small Business, Taxpayers and Investors.
HB 1245 CD1, HB 2827 CD1, HB 1800 CD1: $10.4 million was raided from the States Rainy Day Special Fund to bail the State out of its projected budget shortfall this year. Another $141.3 million is being appropriated out of several other special funds to balance the state books. As SBH stated previously, these special fund raids illustrate that the state does not have a financial plan in which to fund the priorities of the state. There were more NO votes on this budget than previously.
